Wait actually, I wasn’t gonna write about this & this is not something I write about frequently or is my niche. But I couldn’t stop myself from writing on this!!
I just came across a reel on Balenciaga & I realised there’s not just one thing wrong with it, there’s a whole list❗️
Balenciaga has always managed to stay in the spotlight, whether it’s because of its weird marketing or its products.
If you’re not aware, back in 2022, the brand was caught up in a controversy, with #cancelBalenciaga trending all over Twitter (now X) & TikTok.
Why❓
The brand launched an online campaign called “Gift Shop” to promote its holiday collection. The campaign featured photos of children holding teddy bears dressed in bondage harnesses and costumes that appeared to reference BDSM. (You can read more here.)
