hayley’s products have never appealed to me. like cool another famous girl starting a beauty brand, how novel (thank queen Riri first) i feel like they capitalize on the clean girl / cool girl reading joan didion aesthetic and while i agree that the delayed launch for products to create fomo is cool, Kylie used to do the same with her lip kits. i think it’s time for a more down to earth, gen z self care which isn’t about having 13 steps of overly expensive and perfectly designed products but something more useful. i think makeup marketing should start to look like the ryanair marketing where they’re like “it’s not the best but at least it’s cheap” which gen z loves or the absurdist kfc ads which are sooo popular

I highly agree this is all fancy skincare which people are willing to pay for! But I wonder if GenZ is willing to pay less for a product with less quality? We have dupes & other brands but not as famous as these hyped beauty products! 🤔

I agree with you. the marketing of Rhode is something else. The photoshoot that they shoot for every product, the vision of Hailey and the way their PR team shows this products makes us buy too. I live in Turkey where Rhode doesn’t have shipping to but people who can buy it from other countries sells these products almost twice a price…
